Job Description Job Description Job Summary This position is responsible for providing support to clients and assisting the sales department Essential Job Duties Responds to customer inquiries via phone and email with professionalism and clarity. Proactively provides updates regarding order status, delays, or changes. Addresses concerns and complaints courteously and escalates when needed. Builds positive relationships with customers to enhance loyalty and retention. Reviews and enters customer orders, ensuring all details meet client and internal requirements. Monitors order status and timelines from entry through shipping. Coordinates with production to verify lead times, material availability, and job completion. Collaborates with sales, production, and shipping teams to ensure order accuracy and on-time delivery. Maintains internal tracking systems with up-to-date status and notes on customer orders. Communicates special customer requirements to appropriate departments. Confirms and manages shipping details and tracks deliveries to ensure timely receipt. Liaises with carriers and resolves shipping issues quickly and effectively. Maintains accurate records of orders, communications, and adjustments. Assists with DFM report review and other support tasks as assigned. Supports the sales team with administrative duties and reporting as needed. Education & Experience A high school diploma or GED is required for this role. In addition to the education requirement, this position requires a minimum of two years of related experience in an administrative or support role, preferably within a sales or customer service environment. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be used to satisfy these requirements. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities The ability to adjust to new situations, environments, and changing priorities. The ability to effectively convey information and ideas through written, verbal, and non-verbal means. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related programs. The ability to organize and maintain an effective and efficient work environment. The ability to collaborate with others and work effectively in a team environment.
