Job Description Job Description Description: We are seeking a motivated IT User Support & Junior Network Support Specialist to join our IT team. This hybrid role provides front-line technical assistance to employees while also supporting the administration of our network and infrastructure. It’s an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow from help desk/user support into broader IT and networking responsibilities. Key Responsibilities User Support: Provide first-line technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices and business applications Troubleshoot hardware, software and account access issues (Windows, Linux, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace). Manage user accounts, permission and equipment setups. Document support activity and maintain records in the IT ticketing system Junior Network Support: Assist with monitoring and maintaining wired and wireless networks Support configuration and troubleshooting of switches, firewalls, access points, and VPNS Work with senior network administrators to deploy patches, updates and upgrades Help maintain network security by applying basic best practices and escalating alerts Assist with documenting network diagrams, standards and procedures Requirements: Qualifications: 1-2 years of IT support experience (or equivalent technical training) Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and basic networking concepts Working knowledge of Windows and Kinux operating systems Strong problem-solving skills with excellent communication and customer service Preferred: CompTIAA+, Network+, or Equivalent certification Experience with help desk/ticketing systems Exposure to routers, switches, firewalls, or wireless networking equipment (Ubiquiti, Cisco, etc). Understanding VLANs, IP addressing, and basic cybersecurity practices Compensations: We offer a very competitive wage and aggressive goal program.
