Job Description Job Description Job Summary: The position requires an experienced and highly motivated E-Discovery Project Manager. This individual is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the entire eDiscovery project scope, objectives, budgets, timelines, deliverables, reporting and technology within the firm. The role involves close collaboration with attorneys, paralegals, clients, additional key stakeholders, and IT personnel to ensure the efficient and effective handling of e-discovery project. The role is also responsible for monitoring and recommending improvements to e-discovery technologies and suggesting suitable outside vendors. Hours, Location and Travel: Hybrid but One of Our PA Office Locations Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. with a one-hour lunch break Occasional travel opportunities Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervising the Litigation Technology and eDiscovery Analyst Duties/Responsibilities: E-Discovery Project Management: Oversee the entire e-discovery lifecycle including identification, preservation, collection, processing, review, analysis, production of electronic data. Develop and implement e-discovery strategies tailored to specific cases and client needs. Create and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets for e-discovery projects. Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and client requirements throughout the e-discovery process. Collaboration and Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for attorneys, paralegals, and the litigation support team regarding e-discovery matters. Provide guidance and support to legal teams on e-discovery best practices and procedures. Conduct training sessions and workshops for timekeepers and support staff on e-discovery tools and methodologies.] Technology Management: Monitor and evaluate current e-discovery technologies and recommend enhancements or new tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in e-discovery technology. Work with the IT department to implement and maintain e-discovery software and hardware solutions. Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and recommend outside vendors for e-discovery services. Manage relationships with e-discovery vendors to ensure quality and cost-effective services. Negotiate contracts and service level agreements with e-discovery vendors. Quality Control and Risk Management: Ensure accuracy and completeness of e-discovery data and documentation. Implement quality control measures to mitigate risks associated with e-discovery processes. Conduct regular audits and assessments of e-discovery procedures to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in law, information technology, or a related field. Advanced degree or certification in e-discovery (e.g., CEDS) is preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in e-discovery management or related legal technology role. Strong understanding of e-discovery processes, technologies, and best practices. Proficiency in e-discovery software tools (e.g., Relativity, Logikcull, etc.). Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with legal and technical teams. Experience in managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts. Completes all self-education assignments in a timely manner (i.e. online compliance training, supervisor-assigned readings/exercises). 9.
