Position Overview: We are currently seeking a determined Business Development Manager (Commercial Sales Rep resentative ) who embodies our core values: Service, Accountability, Customer Focus, Growth, and Integrity. As Business Development Manager , you’ll specialize in increasing clientele within commercial fire, access control, and surveillance products and services. You’ll work within an assigned protected territory to provide consultative, integrated solutions to potential and existing commercial customers. Overview: The primary responsibility of this role is to support the Vice President of Sales Operations in optimizing costs, managing contracts, and maximizing sales opportunities through strategic analysis and collaboration with key stakeholders. In addition, this role will involve managing and administering contracts with partner organizations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. Responsibilities: Primary Responsibilities: Analyze existing contracts and pricing agreements to identify opportunities for cost savings and improved margins. Conduct cost analysis to identify areas of overpayment or inefficiencies in processes. Collaborate with procurement and sales teams to negotiate favorable terms and conditions for new contracts and agreements. Develop and maintain a centralized contract management system to streamline administration and ensure compliance. Help evaluate, analyze, and manage GPO contracts and reporting, ensuring compliance to contractual obligations Monitor market trends and competitive pricing to inform pricing strategies and optimize sell prices for key accounts. Generate regular reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to senior management. Support sales teams in identifying cross-selling and upselling opportunities based on contract terms and customer needs. Manage and administer contracts ensuring compliance and maximizing value for the organization. Secondary Responsibilities: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify potential new business opportunities and market trends. Provide support in the preparation of proposals and presentations for new business pitches and client meetings. Assist in training sales and procurement teams on contract terms, pricing strategies, and best practices. Handle ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned by the Vice President of Sales Operations. Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following Skills and Abilities: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field. 2-4 years of experience in contract management, sales analysis, finance, or procurement within a B2B environment. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, data visualization tools, and BI tools Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and present findings to senior leadership. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision in data analysis and contract negotiation. Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with ERP systems and contract management software is a plus.
