Job Description Summary : The Instrument and Electrical Technician has the responsibility for the operation and control of equipment used in the process of air separation; also accountability for the care and maintenance of plant mechanical, instrumentation and electrical devices and equipment. - Maintain and troubleshoot instrumentation systems, and calibrations in accordance with manufacturers' instructions, local work instructions and governing regulations. - Install, maintain, adjust and repair manual, pneumatic, electric and electronic measuring, recording, and regulating instrumentation. - Maintain, troubleshoot, and perform preventative inspections on mechanical equipment and systems in accordance with manufacturer's instructions, local work instructions and governing regulations. - Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems in accordance with manufacturers' instructions, local work instructions and governing regulations. - Maintain quality control and quality assurance equipment, including process analyzers and gas chromatographs. - Maintain calibration standards, including inspection, testing and measuring equipment as well as calibration gas cylinders. - Perform routine and non-routine analytical calibrations and adjustments. - Maintain, troubleshoot and perform maintenance on compressors, pumps, turbines, valves, motors, and other plant equipment. - Demonstrate commitment to safety. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. 5+ years experience maintaining instrumentation and electrical systems in technical processes in an industrial environment. Preferred Qualifications Minimum two years of college, technical school, or military technical experience preferred. Position Summary: Anistar is seeking experienced Structured Cable Technicians for a long term project to provide assistance with the installation, termination, and testing of various types of voice and data cables as well as security/access control equipment. The ideal candidate must possess the following: Technicians MUST have experience working with various cables that include, but are not limited to: twisted pair, coax, Category 5, Category 6, single and multi-mode fiber optic cables. Cable installation includes: pulling, placement, terminating, testing, and labeling. BICSI cert (current or past) a plus, but not needed. IDF/MDF, rack install, fiber termination and testing experience a plus. We are looking for individuals who will pay attention to detail and work efficiently under minimal supervision. Job Responsibilities: Pulling and routing CAT5 or CAT6 cable in a new construction and existing structure commercial environment Installing support structures (ladders, racks, j-hooks) Building out cable closets (MDF/IDFs) Terminating Fiber is a major plus Basic scope of work includes: 3+ years’ experience installing and servicing voice and data systems in a commercial environment. Ownership of basic telecom tools: Punch down, snips, wire strippers, cordless drill, Hard Hat, Boots, Safety Glasses, etc. Familiarity with BICSI, EIA, TIA or NEC Standards.
