Responsibilities: Conduct inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on agricultural equipment, prioritizing customer support and pride in workmanship. Utilize specialized tools, cutting-edge technology, and innovative solutions for diagnosing and completing complex repairs. Perform preventative maintenance activities based on documented schedules and industry standards. Stay updated on the latest John Deere agriculture products as well as other popular brands such as Case IH, New Holland, AGCO and more, and incorporate this knowledge into service work. Use diagnostic tools and basic computer functions effectively. Participate in ongoing training, including brand specific training programs and dealer-led sessions, to enhance skills and technical capabilities. Work closely with a Journeyperson to gain knowledge and certification. Requirements: 1-3+ years of experience in performing complex service repairs and maintenance. Ideally possess a 2nd or 3rd year Agricultural Apprentice Technician certification or equivalent in a mechanical field (e.g., Heavy Equipment, Automotive). Ultimately, an outstanding lube technician should be able to communicate effectively with operators and demonstrate excellent time management skills and be a self-starter. Responsibilities: This technician will perform required equipment lubrication and maintenance operations at our job sites and in our yard. Inspects equipment in a professional manner. Make recommendations for additional servicing based on initial vehicle inspections. Help to plan and control lube and preventative maintenance jobs. Maintains the assigned lube truck and ensures oil tanks are topped with oil and emptied of waste oil at the end of each shift. Writes accurate and concise equipment condition reports. Completes detailed work orders and accurately fills out oil samples. Notifying the shop Manager when equipment maintenance or servicing cannot be completed within the scheduled timeframes. Requirements: Class B or Class A, CDL Required 21 years or older Hours 12 pm to 10 pm Valid driver's license and current CDL Clean driving record for previous 5 years Proven experience in heavy mobile equipment maintenance and repair. Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Excellent time management, problem-solving skills, and detail-oriented. Effective communication, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Exceptional planning skills. Must also keep accurate records of all equipment supported & reports shared with the shop Manager Ability to work cooperatively and communicate effectively.
