Coordinates with production scheduling, production operations, customer service, external service providers, and others to achieve effective and efficient shipping processes. Primary Responsibilities: Process shipments, including verifying quantities, labeling, packaging, and confirming accuracy. Process shipping paperwork, including bills of lading, packing slips, and export documents. Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of orders. Track shipments, delivery dates, and update customer service as needed. Respond to customer service inquiries regarding shipping information and order status. Schedule and coordinate with logistics providers to ensure on time delivery at best cost. Participate in cycle counts and stock audits as needed. Ensure all processes transacted in SAP are accurate and completed daily. Other duties and responsibilities as needed. Physical Demands & Frequency: Requires frequent lifting, reaching, handling, fingering and near acuity. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion. Must be fork truck certified. Must be able to work weekends and overtime as needed. General Educational Development: Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Must be able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables; interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagrammatic or schedule form. Must be computer literate, as this position will involve the use of a PC to print labels and locate inventory in the warehouse using MRP.
