Description Summary: This role will support and provide project direction to other associates including training on ERP systems. Responsible for supporting and enhancing department processes by providing excellent service as well as support on process and task knowledge to other associates. This includes but is not limited to par scanning, order picking, cycle counting, and transaction processing. Provides analytical support for reports and identifies process improvement opportunities. The Installer Service Specialist is an experienced and technical parts specialist who services the needs of professional customers through the store's installer counter. This position will oversee and direct the daily activity of the delivery specialist to ensure customers receive accurate and timely order deliveries. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Work with installers/professional customers to develop sales relationships. Quickly and accurately takes customer orders over the phone and online, invoice customer orders, direct efforts to accurately pick and stage parts for delivery, and route delivery specialists to ensure customers receive their orders in a consistent and timely manner. Ensure delivery vehicles are serviced and maintained according to company standards. Ensure that all vehicle inspections are completed on time, accurate and daily mileages are entered into the delivery fleet management devices. Works with Sales Specialists/Territory Sales Managers to provide superior service to professional customers. Verify all product/merchandise, including warranty parts and cores, are billed before customers leave the store. Ensures customers' new core and warranty returns are picked up and credited in a timely manner. Audit customer returns for warranty abuse and makes sure all returns are tagged/labeled correctly. Assist on front counter as needed and, on the retail counter as needed. Help with backroom duties, i.e., auto-load, returns, stock, etc., as needed. Assist with customer labor claims, making sure they are processed quickly and efficiently. All other duties as assigned. SKILLS/EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES Required: Strong background in mechanics. Above average communication skills. Desired: Hands-on knowledge of automotive repairs. ASE Certification. Parts Specialist The Parts Specialist will provide all retail and installer customers with a high level of service. Retail Service Specialist The Retail Service Specialist will support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in areas of sales, customer service, store appearance, and store operations. This position will also assume shift management responsibilities in the absence of Assistant or Store Manager. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply. Essential Job Functions Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers. Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom to include team member execution on customer service programs. Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy. Ensure all buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders are processed in a timely manner and customers are contacted upon shipment arrivals as needed. Ensure special orders and outside purchases are handled efficiently and according to procedure, utilizing electronic outside purchase order ledger. Ensure retail customer returns and exchanges are processed in an efficient and friendly manner, refunds are issued accurately using the correct payment methods, and returned merchandise is processed or staged in the returns area correctly. Ensure all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, are invoiced before product leaves the store. Ensure that Zipline messages are communicated and Image Maker and merchandising tasks are delegated and completed as assigned. Ensure team members are adhering to the posted work schedule, changes/deviations are being approved by a member of management, and team members are clocking in/out according to company policy. Perform all store opening/closing duties, including performing day end procedures, verifying/securing money/deposits according to company policy, preparing bank deposits as needed, ensuring all night security lights are on, locking doors and securing building, arming/disarming security alarms, and checking/securing/locking delivery vehicle(s) parked in secure designated area.
