DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : The functions listed below are those that represent the majority of the time spent working in this class. Management may assign additional functions related to the type of work of the class as necessary. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : As part of the City's development review team, this position reviews plans, specifications and sites for private infrastructure development and public construction projects. P rovides comments on plan sheets, plats, and other documents ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable standards, specifications, regulations and codes; researches TCEQ, OSHA, ASTM, AWWA, MUTCD and TxDOT and other regulations and standards and analyzes information; and writes reports on findings. Conducts Pre-Construction Meetings for new commercial and residential development projects, utility improvement projects, and any other applicable projects as assigned.
