They will be responsible for understanding and adhering to company standards, expectations and all DOT regulations. Quality & Safety will be a focal point in all matters. Essential Functions include, but are not limited to the following:Haul necessary items to and from job sites as assigned by supervisionUnderstand and be able to properly load and unload items being hauledUnderstand and ensure proper load securement when hauling itemsWhen required, participate in rig up & rig down meetings and ensure full understanding of the task assigned Expected to know and understand all DOT regulations and ensure compliance at all times.Constantly communicate with supervision on issues, changes, and specific needs for executing assigned tasksEnsure compliance of company policies and standards are always followed, ie: pre-job tailgate meetings, JSAs, equipment inspections, checklist, HOS, etc.Ensure work is executed to the highest standard while meeting the customers expectations and is done safely and compliantlyA qualified applicant must posses the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:Current Class A Commercial Drivers License with air brakes endorsementKnowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.Current safety certifications to include PEC, H2S, Forklift, First Aid/CPR preferredExcellent and clear communication to safely and efficiently complete job tasks with team membersLead by example, teach, motivate, and mentor team members, and execute daily goalsDrive a culture where equipment and work is organized, clean, and presentablePhysical Demands and Work EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this position, the employee frequently is required to use hands or fingers; handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
