We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join a dynamic healthcare team in the Pacific Northwest region. This role involves diagnosing and treating patients with a range of mental health and emotional disorders, providing individualized psychotherapy, and prescribing medications as part of comprehensive treatment plans. Key Responsibilities Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments to determine appropriate treatment strategies. Provide tailored psychotherapy to meet each patient's unique needs. Prescribe and manage medications, ensuring effective and safe medication use. Collaborate closely with therapists, social workers, and primary care providers to deliver integrated mental health care. Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with clinical policies and regulations. Offer support and guidance to families and caregivers regarding patient progress and care plans. Education and Experience Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing with a focus on Psychiatric Nursing from a state-certified advanced practice program. Active licensure as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Preferred: 5+ years of clinical experience, especially in outpatient or rural settings. Experience with electronic health record systems such as Epic is a plus. Training and experience treating both pediatric and adult populations are highly valued. Professional Skills and Requirements Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Commitment to regulatory compliance and professional ethics. Ability to provide respectful, courteous, and supportive interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
