Job Title: Apprentice Machinist Our client, a leading manufacturing organization in the foodservice packaging industry, is seeking an Apprentice Machinist to join their team. As an Apprentice Machinist, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting production and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate dedication, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. What's the Job? Follow all safety and personnel policies to maintain a safe working environment. Set up and operate manual equipment such as Bridgeport mills, surface grinders, honing machines, broaching tools, and engine lathes. Operate CNC equipment as required to support manufacturing processes. Evaluate production equipment and work from blueprints, fixing parts without prints when necessary. Inspect own work using precision inspection tools to ensure compliance with blue print requirements. What's Needed? High School diploma or GED equivalent. Commitment to continuous learning and skill development in manufacturing and machining trades. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 40 lbs. Basic proficiency with inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and indicators.
