1st Shift Electrical Mechanical Maintenance Shift: 1st Shift (Hours: Start- 5am to 6am, End- 2:30pm to 3:30pm)Pay: $40.00/hrSign-On Bonus: $5,000DESCRIPTION: Perform a wide variety of complex plant and machine maintenance including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system troubleshooting and major system repairs.Responsibilities include preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on CNC equipment, lift trucks, power tools, machine tools, grinders, heating, air conditioning, and pressurized air systems. Tasks involve lubricating, replacing, or repairing bearings, belts, gears, machine parts, gauges, motors, electrical components, etc.Make complex electrical connections and install or rearrange equipment as needed.Design, install, and repair electrical power distribution systems from single-phase to 3-phase industrial grids.Initiate corrective actions to resolve complex problems and report major issues to supervisors.Read and interpret complex blueprints and schematics.Perform basic MIG, shielded metal arc welding, air arc gouging, and work independently with minimal supervision.Recommend and requisition major repair items and replacement parts.Diagnose PLC installations and troubleshoot issues.Program and troubleshoot PLC systems and relay logic.Work overtime on short notice, including weekends and non-standard hours.Supervise temporary help and assist team members as required.Handle own material needs and follow safety and housekeeping procedures.Perform indoor and outdoor activities as needed.Provide own basic tools for job performance.Qualifications State-certified Journeyman electrician, millwright, or maintenance mechanic with 5+ years of industrial experience as an Electro-Mechanical Technician.Experience in PLC programming, installation, and troubleshooting.Knowledge of amplifiers, power supplies, test equipment, digital concepts, motors, schematics, hydraulic systems.Advanced troubleshooting skills in power presses and metalworking equipment.Strong mathematical skills and experience developing preventative maintenance programs.Ability to multi-task, stay calm under pressure, and communicate effectively.Willing to accept change and new challenges, and work in a team environment.Additional Skills and Requirements Skills in electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems, and welding.Motivated, adaptable, and team-oriented.Educational background and certifications as applicable.Equal Opportunity Employer.
