Our client in the manufacturing space is looking for an E & I Technician to join their maintenance team onsite at their facility in the Wood County area of Wisconsin. You will have a high attention to detail, be safety oriented and bring 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the manufacturing industry. You will be responsible for preventative maintenance throughout the plant, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and project-related work. Compensation is relative to experience and ranges from $40-$46 per hour with comprehensive benefits and 401K. Schedule is Monday through Friday, dayshift. You must be available to work occasional on-call rotations (after hours/weekends). Required Qualifications: 3-5 years minimum experience in a manufacturing environment High attention to detail Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) Must have experience with high voltage (up to 4K) Be familiar with NFPA Arc Flash protocols Bring a background in IEEE standards (an asset) Must be able to work effectively in a team environment or independently Must be able to read electrical drawings, ladder logic, loop drawings and other electrical drawings Must pass pre-employment checks (medical/drug screen/background check) Must be able to work occasional on-call rotations as needed Must be living in the area and authorized to work for any US employer #J-18808-Ljbffr

Electrical and Instrumentation(E&I) Technician

Job Summary: Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and instrumentation systems, including DCS, high-voltage rectifiers, PLCs, VFDs, motors, and field sensors. Perform interlock checks, update loop drawings, and procure repair materials. Responsibilities: Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and instrumentation systems. Troubleshoot, install, and calibrate equipment while ensuring safety compliance. Maintain CMMS records, update documentation, and manage repair materials. Qualifications: Journeyman Electrician/Instrumentation or 3-5 years of relevant experience (apprenticeship sponsorship available). Experience in heavy industry or chemical processing preferred. High-voltage expertise (up to 4K volts) required. Strong troubleshooting, teamwork, and communication skills. Knowledge of NFPA Arc Flash protocols; familiarity with IEEE standards is a plus. Ability to interpret electrical schematics and loop drawings. Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening.
