This person keeps our projects running smooth from the start making sure every job is priced right, planned right, and built right. What Youll Be Doing Estimating & Planning Put together accurate project cost estimates for decks, porches, screen rooms, and outdoor living spaces. Complete detailed material takeoffs so nothing gets missed and numbers stay tight. Get estimates from outside trades when needed Work hand-in-hand with our sales team to fully understand project scopes and client expectations. Review designs and help fine-tune them for real-world construction efficiency. Design & Blueprints Work with our in-house designers to turn concepts into final blueprints ready for build. Double-check drawings for accuracy, code compliance, and practical buildability. Offer feedback that helps streamline materials and labor while keeping quality top-notch. Permitting & Procurement Handle all building permits from applications to approvals. Order and organize all project materials, coordinating deliveries with our warehouse and jobsite timelines. Keep a pulse on material availability and lead times to keep jobs moving without delay. Job Coordination Work alongside our Project Managers to schedule utility locates, inspections, and key milestones. Track progress and make sure each phase of the project stays on schedule and within budget. Stay connected with customers keeping them updated on timelines, inspections, and whats coming next. Cost Tracking & Budget Control Keep an eye on job costs from start to finish. Flag any budget issues early and work with leadership to find solutions. Make sure every project stays profitable while maintaining the quality and craftsmanship were known for. What Were Looking For Previous experience in construction estimating (deck or outdoor living experience is a huge plus). Strong attention to detail you notice the little things that others miss. Comfortable reading blueprints and doing takeoffs. Solid understanding of building materials, construction sequencing, and general carpentry. Good communicator whos comfortable talking with vendors, inspectors, customers, and field crews. Organized and dependable someone who thrives when juggling multiple projects. Basic computer skills (Excel, estimating software, or similar tools).
