About The Role We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our Finance team at our Menomonee Falls headquarters. In this role, you will manage the company’s Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and excellent customer service. You’ll also provide backup support for Accounts Payable and assist with general accounting and operational needs. This position will serve as backup to areas in operations, such as shipping or inventory control. Responsibilities Create and distribute accurate customer invoices. Process and apply all incoming payments (checks, ACH, wires, credit cards). Partner with customers to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure timely collections. Conduct quarterly reviews of customer payment performance and compliance. Reconcile AR to the General Ledger and support month-end closing processes. Prepare journal entries, schedules, and reporting packages. Provide backup support for Accounts Payable functions. Assist the Finance and Operations teams with general accounting support as needed. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. 1–3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping, with focus in AR, AP, or general accounting. Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel). Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Commitment to confidentiality and professional integrity.
