This position will ensure that the work area is safe and that everyone around the work area is not at risk. As a Mower Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring that proper safety guidelines are followed at all times and report any safety concerns immediately. You will report to the General Foreperson and Manager at the site. Duties And Responsibilities Include Essential Duties: Inspects, services, and reports necessary repairs to tools, trucks, and other equipment Loads and unloads equipment onto trucks and trailers Operates and services equipment and tools such as hydraulic tools, power tools, buckets, chippers, and sprayers Safeguards employees and the public from hazards by setting up barriers, warning signs, flags, and markers Trains new personnel Keeps informed on new equipment, specifications, standard practices, and operating procedures Starts each day with an inspection of tires, controls, fuel, and fluids to ensure reliable operation Duties and responsibilities may change with or without notice What You'll Bring To The Team Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record per Company requirements Knowledge of essential job functions and responsibilities Attention to detail Organizational skills Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to problem solve Meet all physical requirements of the position Pass all drug and alcohol screens as required by Company policy and, if applicable, required by DOT regulations 18 years of age or older, or 21 if CDL is required Legally authorized to work in the United States Preferred: Two (2) or more years of equipment operating experience Mechanic training DOT compliance knowledge CDL Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive list of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Create and maintain effective liaison relationships with federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international law enforcement agencies. Must be able to obtain a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Clearance. Must be willing to travel as required. Must meet the FBI’s Employment Eligibility requirements.
