Embark Behavioral Health is seeking a Clinical Director to lead our OP/IOP/PHP programs in Ashburn, VA. In this role, you'll do more than manage programs-you'll shape clinical culture, mentor future leaders, and ensure exceptional care. We're looking for a licensed mental health clinician (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) with strong leadership skills, a passion for guiding teams, and a commitment to meaningful outcomes. If you're a licensed clinician in Virginia and are eligible to provide clinical supervision-or are close to obtaining your Clinical Supervision Certification to mentor and guide other therapists, we strongly encourage you to apply! ResponsibilitiesProvide clinical leadership and oversight across OP, IOP, and PHP levels of care Mentor, coach, and develop therapists, fostering professional growth and clinical excellence Ensure high-quality, evidence-based treatment and clinical best practices Build a culture of psychological safety, collaboration, and accountability Partner with leadership to strengthen programs, improve outcomes, and support sustainable growth Serve as a steady, compassionate presence for both clients and clinicians QualificationsLicensure: Fully Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or equivalent in the state of Virginia required. Full Licensure in Maryland and DC a plus. Candidates must be prepared to establish (or already have) a CAQH profile and obtain a National Provider Identifier (NPI) as part of the onboarding process. Education: Minimum master's Degree in Behavioral Sciences - Social Work (MSW,) Clinical Social Work (CSW,) Clinical Mental Counseling (CMHC), Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or a related discipline. Required: Authorized to provide clinical supervision in the state where the clinic is located by the appropriate state licensing agency or eligible with completion of training within six months of employment.
