Microsoft Project Manager
Role Snapshot
As a Microsoft Project Manager, you will lead and deliver technology and process transformation initiatives across Microsoft-centric environments. Success in this role is defined by clearly scoped projects, aligned stakeholders, proactive risk management, and reliable delivery that improves collaboration, security, and operational outcomes.
What You’ll Do
Plan and manage end-to-end project delivery, including scope, schedule, dependencies, risks, milestones, and resources
Lead technology and process transformation initiatives aligned to business and operational outcomes
Coordinate cross-functional technical and business stakeholders to maintain delivery momentum
Manage Microsoft 365 / Office 365 adoption, migration, and modernization projects
Maintain project plans, schedules, and documentation using Microsoft collaboration tools
Provide clear status reporting, action tracking, and escalation management
Facilitate project ceremonies including kickoffs, working sessions, and executive reviews
Identify and mitigate risks and dependencies across multiple workstreams
Support rollout, adoption, and change management activities
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Public Administration, Engineering, or related field
8–12 years of total professional experience with at least 5 years as a Project Manager
Experience leading technology and/or process transformation initiatives
Proven ability to manage projects from initiation through delivery
Strong stakeholder coordination and executive communication skills
Ability to manage timelines, priorities, and dependencies across multiple workstreams
Comfort working in Microsoft 365–centric environments
U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain an Agency Public Trust clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Project Management Professional (PMP®)
Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®)
PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP®)
SAFe® Agilist (SA) or SAFe® Program Consultant (SPC)
Microsoft Certified: Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS-900)
Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
Experience with technology modernization or organizational change initiatives
Work Model
Hybrid role with some travel to Danville, Virginia as needed.
Home base will be RightSeat.AI HQ in Ashburn, Virginia and/or remote after 90 days.
