Compensation
Base Wage:
UP TO $40/hour
Shift Differentials
6:00 PM – 10:00 PM: +$1.00/hour
10:00 PM – 6:00 AM: +$2.00/hour

Position Summary

Allure of Sterling is seeking
compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)
to provide high-quality care to residents in our skilled nursing facility.
Nurses provide direct clinical care, monitor resident conditions, administer medications and treatments, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure residents receive the highest level of care, safety, and dignity.
This role works under the supervision of the
Director of Nursing
and supports the facility’s mission of delivering exceptional resident-centered care.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care according to resident care plans and physician orders
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Monitor residents for changes in condition and report concerns promptly
Supervise and support nursing assistants during assigned shifts
Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges
Complete and maintain accurate clinical documentation
Follow physician orders and facility policies
Complete incident and accident reports when necessary
Provide skilled nursing procedures including wound care, catheter care, tube feedings, and other treatments within scope of practice
Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and team communication
Follow infection control standards and safety procedures
Maintain resident dignity, privacy, and HIPAA compliance
Promote a respectful and supportive environment for residents, families, and staff
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Current Illinois RN or LPN license in good standing
CPR Certification required
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
Knowledge of long-term care practices and regulations preferred
Long-term care experience preferred, but not required
Physical Requirements
Ability to move intermittently throughout the workday
Ability to manage the mental and emotional demands of the role
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to push, pull, lift, or carry at least 25 pounds
