Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Full Time
Job Summary:
Delmar Nursing & Rehabilitation is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care to our residents. As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will play a vital role in our facility's daily operations. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate CNA to join our team and contribute to the well-being of our patients.
Responsibilities:
Assist with daily living activities, including delivering meals, turning and ambulating patients, and providing personal hygiene assistance (bathing, shampoos, and showers)
Monitor vital signs and record daily information in patient charts
Assist nurses and other staff as needed
Adhere to professional standards, follow policies and procedures, and abide by federal, state, and local requirements and Joint Commission standards
Requirements:
High School diploma or GED
Must be Delaware certified
Completion of a state-approved CNA certification training course
Basic computer skills
Ability to work as part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and effectively
Good communication skills, including the ability to communicate sensitive information with empathy
High tolerance for working under pressure and handling critical situations with a cool head
