How you will make an impact Developing relationships with the residents and their families using a consistent caregiver approach by supporting the resident’s physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs and focusing on placing the resident first. Holding staff accountable for quality care and continual improvement of neighborhood processes/practices. Meeting regulatory requirements and nursing standards of practice. Providing staff with clear/consistent assignments of residents and duties while setting the tone for a productive and professional work environment. Working with the staffing office to provide adequate staff available for shift. Leading and directing the execution of care plans for the residents in their neighborhood through monitoring and partnership with RN, LPN, and care associates. Monitoring new staff complete orientation/onboarding requirements. Participating in performance improvement processes for the neighborhood. Proactively rounds with staff on neighborhood and identifies positive execution of duties as well as areas of opportunities. Collaborating with other departments (dining, general services, housekeeping, programming, social worker, etc.) in a professional manner to deliver safe, quality, and person-centered care.
