Join Monash University as an Associate Professor or Professor of Speech Pathology and take the helm in establishing and growing our Speech Pathology discipline to drive educational innovation, research excellence, and professional engagement. As a Level D or E academic, you will:

Lead Program Development: Design and establish world-class Speech Pathology courses, ensuring accreditation and alignment with contemporary practice. Champion Research Excellence: Conduct internationally leading research, publish in high-impact journals, and secure competitive research grants. Inspire and Mentor: Build and lead a dynamic academic team, fostering collaboration and mentoring early career researchers and students. Drive Strategic Impact: Represent the program on the School Executive, align efforts with university strategy, and build strong industry and clinical partnerships.

What You Bring

A doctoral qualification with recognition as a leading authority in Speech Pathology or a related field. Proven excellence in curriculum development, course design, and teaching in health professional education. A strong track record of high-impact research and success in securing competitive funding. Visionary leadership with the ability to inspire, manage, and grow academic teams. A commitment to advancing the Speech Pathology profession both nationally and internationally.
