Manufacturing Data Analyst We are searching for an experienced Manufacturing Data Analyst at our Plant 4 HQ Elkhart, IN facility. Dexter is the premier manufacturer and supplier of axles, suspension, brakes, doors, venting products, trailer parts, accessories, and towing components serving the commercial trailer, RV, heavy-duty, marine, agriculture, and manufactured housing markets. We have an opportunity for a Manufacturing Data Analyst at our manufacturing facility located onsite in Elkhart, IN or Albion, IN. Reporting to the Director of CIP and Automation, the Manufacturing Data Analyst is responsible for analyzing and interpreting data from manufacturing processes to optimize operations, enhance efficiency, and support decision-making in automated environments. Key Responsibilities:
Data Collection & Analysis: Gather, analyze, and interpret data from automated manufacturing systems and processes. Dashboard & Report Development: Create and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs). Trend Identification: Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in production data to recommend improvements. Collaboration: Work with engineering and operations teams to implement data-driven strategies for process optimization. Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of automated systems and suggest enhancements based on data insights. Root Cause Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis of production issues and provide actionable recommendations. Data Quality Assurance: Ensure data accuracy and integrity by developing and implementing data quality checks. Industry Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in data analytics and automation technologies. Anticipated travel: 20% Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, or a related field. Experience: 5+ Years proven experience in data analysis within a manufacturing or automation context. Familiarity with statistical analysis and machine learning techniques. Strong communication skills to present data findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Deep understanding of manufacturing processes and automation technologies. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R). Experienced working in a manufacturing environment.
