Mechanical Maintenance Planner - Pulp Mill Maintenance Rumford, ME, US 3 days ago Requisition ID: 1047 Salary Range: $82,194.00 To $102,742.50 Annually Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Planner- Pulp Mill (Rumford, Maine) Compensation: $82,194.00-$102,743.00, VCP 10% The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. Demonstrate safety as a core value and establish a safe work environment by actively leading the safe execution of work. Develop and update detailed shutdown schedules. Facilitate reliability/planning meetings. Maintain a daily focus on the safety of self and others. Ensure that all safety training is accurate and up to date. Attend and participate in area safety team meetings. Use SAP management tool to create work plans, bill of materials, and document work history. Apply and expand new technology and industry learning toward the work of equipment and process reliability improvement. Evolve reliability work from reactionary & time-based to a condition-based maintenance process. Lead and supervise a group of mechanics to maintain all equipment in the absence of the current supervisor. Provide extended coverage for equipment downtime periods, holidays, and weekends as scheduled. Will be included on weekend coverage rotation.
Required Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent training and/or experience. Previous planning and/or experience a plus. Previous Pulp Mill maintenance experience preferred. Ability to handle multiple time-sensitive projects and issues. Ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel, both hourly and management. Previous knowledge of SAP preferred, Microsoft office, MS Outlook e-mail a plus. Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills, as well as initiative and the ability to delegate decision-making and other responsibilities.
