Position : Senior Construction Estimator Reports to : Director of Estimating Location : Columbus, OH Salary Range : $100,000 - $120,000 The Superior Group is seeking a Senior Estimator who will be responsible for interpreting drawings, reading specifications, and performing takeoff on certain items. The ideal candidate must have the willingness to learn new technology and estimating software, have strong technical and communication skills, and work well in a team environment. Responsibilities

Reading and understanding of contract drawings and project specifications Perform takeoff of electric items, consisting of light fixtures, branch power devices, and fire alarm devices Work with vendors and QA estimates Lead projects and coordinate and support with internal teams to ensure alignment of scope Conduct site visits to understand practical field installation requirements Work closely with the project management team on change order pricing

Your Expertise

Required : You have 7+ years of experience in construction estimating Bonus Points: If you have earned an associate's or bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field Bonus Points: If you have experience in electrical construction Bonus Points: If you have experience using Accubid and/or Bluebeam
