Description Our company is rapidly growing and we are currently in search of providers to help our growing families! We are looking for a provider who is passionate about caring for patients, educating them and treating their medical needs. You will perform exams and procedures, counsel patients, and treat patients throughout their lifetime. Education Professional degree in Pediatric Medicine (M.D. Or D.O.) Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Georgia. Board Certified in Pediatric Medicine. Summary Responsible for patient exams and treatments in children. Will diagnose, treat and help prevent children’s diseases. Hours of Operation

Examine patients or order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests to obtain information on medical condition and determine diagnosis. Examine children regularly to assess their growth and development. Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury in infants and children. Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical history, reports, and examination results. Advise patients, parents or guardians, and community members concerning diet, activity, hygiene, and disease prevention. Treat children who have minor illnesses, acute and chronic health problems, and growth and development concerns. Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients and parents or guardians. Monitor patients’ conditions and progress and reevaluate treatments as necessary. Plan and execute medical care programs to aid in the mental and physical growth and development of children and adolescents. Refer patients to medical specialists or other practitioners when necessary. Direct and coordinate activities of nurses, students, assistants, specialists, therapists, and other medical staff. Provide consulting services to other physicians.
Evaluation The evaluation of work performance, including specific duties, responsibilities, demeanor, and work ethic, will be ongoing and implemented by the Chief Medical Officer per center policies. Requirements
Minimum Qualifications A doctoral degree from an accredited program. A minimum of 1 year experience is preferred. Must be licensed to practice in Georgia. Must successfully pass a drug screening and a criminal background check. Compliance Adhere to company policies and procedures and all Federal, State and Local medical service requirements, including HIPAA Privacy & Security. Confidentiality (HIPAA) Every employee is required to sign a Pledge of Confidentiality. Failure to comply can lead to immediate termination of employment. Confidentiality applies to a patient’s Personal Health Information (PHI). Security (HIPAA) Every employee is required to protect their computer log-on and password. You must secure your work area prior to leaving it unattended. Compliance with security protocols is mandatory. Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for an extended period of time. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
