IT Operations Analyst
Job Description
Overview InDev is seeking an Operations Support Specialist to provide day-to-day support to our DHS customer. This role ensures the smooth operation of enterprise platforms, compliance with government reporting requirements, UI/UX support, and coordination of program deliverables. The specialist will work closely with government stakeholders, Indev program leadership, and technical teams to ensure mission continuity and operational excellence. YOUR FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Program Operations Support transition-in/out activities, including asset management, staffing onboarding, and knowledge transfer Track and update project schedules, deliverables, and milestones to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
Enterprise Platform Support Assist with ServiceNow operational tasks (ticketing, workflow tracking, reporting). Provide support to TRM platform governance activities (standards tracking, technology reference updates). Support Business Connection platform activities (industry engagement portal updates and reporting).
Reporting & Documentation Draft, edit, and submit weekly status reports, monthly progress reports, and financial documentation. Maintain meeting minutes (due within 3 days of meetings) and distribute to stakeholders. Contribute to the development of SOPs and documentation for Centers of Excellence.
Compliance & Risk Management Track Section 508, FedRAMP, and DHS-mandated compliance activities as part of deliverables.
Maintain risk/issue logs and escalate as appropriate to the Project Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS Active DHS/CBP clearance Bachelor’s degree At least 5 years of experience supporting federal IT operations, project management, or enterprise systems. Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar enterprise service platforms. Strong organizational skills with experience tracking deliverables and deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and collaboration tools (Teams, SharePoint). Experience working with end users/stakeholders to provide training and support Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Clearance: Must be a U.S. Citizen and hold an active DHS Public Trust, preferably Customs and Border Protection (CBP). NICE TO HAVES Interest in emerging technologies (AI, automation, cloud services) in a government context. Understanding of Section 508 and FedRAMP requirements.
