Job Summary The Fiberglass Product Director is responsible for developing strategic product objectives to increase revenue and margin. The Product Director implements product initiatives and works with the Product Manager to manage products throughout the product lifecycle, including gathering product and customer requirements, maintaining product master files, evaluating product and pricing changes in the market, and promoting the product line. This role is accountable for developing, coordinating, and implementing company-level strategies across multiple functions. The Fiberglass Product Director will lead the design, development, and support of new innovative and existing products, ensuring successful collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, marketing, and commercial leaders to develop and execute strategic growth initiatives. Some of What You Will Do:
Collaborate with the VP of Product and Senior Leadership team to develop overall product strategies and roadmap. Conduct situational analysis in terms of market dynamics, competitive landscape, and future opportunities in the industry. Lead cross-functional NPD stage-gate process and projects for new product initiatives from idea creation to launch. Oversee quarterly/annual product line reviews and execute overall product strategies. Manage execution of systemic requirements for product master files including accurate list prices and part descriptions. Drive and support PMO aligned product line productivity improvements projects. Develop and manage pricing initiatives including system price updates, training, and communication. Oversee product marketing materials used for point of sale, training, and communication. Collaborate effectively with Engineers, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Commercial Teams. What You Bring to the Table: (Qualifications) Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related discipline (Master’s Preferred); Minimum of 7-10 years’ experience in marketing and/or product management; minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry. Demonstrated success defining and launching products. Understanding of key business concepts: budgets, ROI, capital planning, markets, customers, and business forecasts. Proven ability to effectively solicit, develop, organize, and communicate ideas, recommendations, and project status. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Technical background, with experience working with field engineers, manufacturing engineers, and product engineers. Excellent teamwork and project management skills. Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority. Strong PC skills and excellence in MS Office suite of products. Ability to meet work and project deadlines in a timely fashion, with high-quality output. Travel requirements: Approximately 35-40%. Why should you come work with Us? Salary Range: $135,000-$180,000 Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across US geographic markets. Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, knowledge, skills, education, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future. Bonus: Management Incentive Bonus, MIB Tier 2, 17.5%
