The Convene sales team is looking for a Sales Coordinator to join the Inbound Sales team in New York City, NY. The Sales Coordinator, Inbound role will report to the Director of Sales Enablement and Operations. What You’ll Do: This role is focused on introducing Convene to prospective clients. As a Sales Coordinator, your primary duties will include discovery, qualifications, and full management of inbound leads. All lead generation activities are recorded, tracked, and measured using Salesforce and SalesLoft. We need someone who enjoys a good chat but knows how to steer the conversation. Someone excited by the idea of connecting with prospective clients while qualifying potential business opportunities. If you have a positive ‘glass is half full’ mentality and you’re excited to learn the ropes in sales, this could be the role for you. Duties and responsibilities include: You will be responsible for understanding Convene product solutions including Physical/Hybrid Meetings and WorkPlace. Handle a high volume of inbound leads via phone and e-RFPs, to include qualification, lead distribution, and follow-up. Multi-task to create and deliver qualified leads to Sales Executives. As part of the inbound team, you will contribute to revenue goals by selling events for 30 guests and below, across all markets. Initiate conversations with potential clients via phone and email outreach. Capture accurate and complete information in Salesforce and other systems as directed. Be an active member of the team by sharing client feedback and sentiment with the sales team. Attend all sales meetings. Respond in a timely manner to all requests, projects, or tasks made by your supervisors as needed and book small inbound group business.
What We Look For:
1-2 minimum years of experience in a sales role. CRM Experience, a plus. Experience with physical or virtual events, real estate or flexible workspaces, a plus.
Compensation:
Base Salary: $65,000.00.
This role is also eligible for Convene's sales commission program.
