Rheumatology Senior Health and Science Specialist - Manhattan, NY ROLE SUMMARY The Rheumatology Health & Science Specialist is responsible for launching new products, managing business relationships, understanding formulary access, and engaging in product promotion within assigned accounts. The representative will focus on sales efforts and relationship development with assigned customers and accounts, including Therapeutic Area Specialists and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs). The Health & Science Specialist should possess customer, market and business acumen combined with strong product and disease state knowledge; demonstrate strong sales, promotional and strategic business development and management skills and in-depth customer engagement expertise in both virtual and in-person settings. They should utilize a systematic approach to virtual engagement, have outstanding communication skills, and be adept in the operation of digital and virtual tools. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES Identify and implement the most efficient virtual/in-person engagement strategies to maximize effectiveness and impact. Build rapport and relationships with customers across virtual and face-to-face environments. Deliver relevant, targeted messaging utilizing approved materials to drive product demand. Educate providers on unbranded and branded product value propositions. Support patients’ access to Pfizer products by providing relevant information to HCPs. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional colleagues to address customer inquiries. Utilize calendaring tools and personal insights to address customer priorities. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS A Bachelor’s Degree Minimum of 3 years of previous pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical marketing/promotional/sales experience. Must live within 50 miles of the territory. Valid US driver’s license and a driving record in compliance with company standards. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 3-5 years of specialty marketing/promotional/sales experience. Strong knowledge of disease states, therapeutic areas, and products. Demonstrated ability to engage, influence and support customers. Exceptional time management, planning, and organizing skills.
