Vice President Engineering
Job Description
The Vice President, Engineering, is a key member of the Cooperative’s Senior Leadership team, responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the Engineering department, and the design of the distribution system, to assure efficient and dependable electric service of the highest quality. This position provides long-range planning for system requirements and design to support construction of the distribution system, substations, and switching structures. This position also works to foster a collaborative work environment throughout the organization. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field. Ten years of utility experience preferred. E. Certification preferred. Proven expertise in the operation and maintenance of electric distribution and transmission systems, substation design, and organizational planning. Experience in the operation, installation, and maintenance of Load Management and SCADA systems. Requires a valid State of Georgia driver’s license. Must satisfactorily pass employment physical examination and required drug screens. #J-18808-Ljbffr
