Base pay range $43.00/hr - $45.00/hr Hiring a Mechanical Engineer for a leading manufacturer in Mossville, IL Pay: $43-45/hour M-F: 7 – 5 PM (Flex hours within these times based on meetings / overseas interactions, etc.)
RESPONSIBILITIES FOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER:
Collaborate with design engineers and team leads to plan and execute comprehensive engine component validation plans, ensuring alignment with technical requirements and project goals. Develop detailed test plans and instrumentation requirements, translating technical specifications into actionable steps and overseeing the complete execution of these plans. Prepare and deliver technical project summaries and final test results, effectively communicating findings and recommendations to stakeholders. Conduct technical evaluations of major systems on competitive products, coordinating product tests and prototype build-ups to validate design concepts and resolve manufacturing issues.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE FOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER:
Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural, Aerospace or related field w/ 8+ Years of Full-Time Professional Experience OR Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural, Aerospace or related field w/ 5+ Years of Full-Time Professional Experience College Projects, Master’s Thesis Projects & Internships Are Not Qualifiers for Full-Time Professional Experience
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS FOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER:
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to develop product concepts. Demonstrated leadership in taking a product from design concept to production. Experience with engine combustion and emissions performance, engine calibration, and lab testing. Fully proficient in CAD design (modeling and detailing) using Creo and Pro/E. Simulation-led design experience (ANSYS toolkit, FEA, CFD, etc.) with the ability to quickly iterate design concepts based on analytical results. Fully proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.). Project and task management skills with the ability to define and execute project priorities.
