Teaching Assistant (Generic) Level 2 (Ysgol Llandinam) Salary: Grade 4 Point 5 to Point 6 £24,790 to £25,183 per annum pro rata £12.84 to £13.05 per hour Position: Part-time: 26.25 hours per week. Contract: Fixed Term Contract until Friday 11th April 2025, with potential to be extended. About us Ysgol Llandinam School provides a high standard of education and care for two to eleven-year-olds in the Llanidloes area. We are located in the beautiful village of Llandinam, Mid Wales, within extensive grounds and a traditional, charming Victorian building. About the opportunity We are looking for someone highly skilled, experienced, knowledgeable, and resourceful, who is fully committed to making a difference to the learning and progress of every pupil. You will be a highly motivated and constructive contributor to our team in our 'growing' and continually improving school. Most of your role will involve working with individual and small groups of learners across all age groups. We seek a talented and agile practitioner to support learners of different ages and abilities in recovering and improving their skills in numeracy, literacy, speech, and language. You'll need excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, initiative, empathy, and an understanding of a range of pupil needs. What you will need You will have completed a Teaching Assistant, BTEC Nursery Nursing, or equivalent qualification, or alternatively, you may have a degree in early years or education and be seeking practical experience in a school prior to teacher training. Ideally, you will have at least two years of recent experience in a primary school and experience working with neurodiverse children.
