Job Description
Physicians in the Air Force use their expertise in a variety of ways. From planning and administering medical services to a range of patients to creating policies and programs to help bolster the branch’s healthcare system, it’s evident they care deeply about their fellow Airmen. RESPONSIBILITIES Help develop and direct medical policies, programs and services Plan and prepare for medical operations Determine the personnel, equipment, training and facilities required to establish and sustain medical programs or operations Oversee medical operations and lead medical personnel Interpret test results and evaluate examination findings Perform, supervise and direct the delivery of clinical services in inpatient and outpatient settings QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARY MINIMUM EDUCATION Bachelor’s degree or be within one year of attaining your degree or have secured a placement in either Medical school, Residency, or as a Board Certified Provider. QUALIFICATIONS Completion of Officer Training School (OTS), Air Force Academy (AFA) or Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) Must be between the ages of 18 and 48 TRAINING & EDUCATION How do we transform you into a leader and an officer in this field?
