Our Care Management division supports patient-centered care through care coordination, complex care management, and helping address health-related social needs. Founded in 1999, Essen provides care in all five boroughs of New York City, with a primary focus in the Bronx. Job Summary The Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that our services meet the highest quality standards and compliance requirements. You will collaborate with various departments to identify areas for improvement and implement effective quality control processes. Responsibilities
Conduct audits: Perform thorough audits and reviews of staff/driver calls/recordings to identify areas of improvement and ensure compliance with quality standards. Document Findings: Maintain accurate records of audit results, areas of improvement, and corrective actions taken. Prepare detailed reports for management and executives. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in quality assurance. Patient Interaction: Address escalated customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring timely resolution and satisfaction. Training and Support: Provide training and support to team members on quality standards and QA processes. Other Duties: Projects or tasks assigned by House Calls Management. Qualifications Education: College degree or equivalent; additional education or certification in healthcare administration or a related field is preferred. Skills:
Experience planning, implementing, and executing QA projects. Exceptional people management skills. Strong ability to motivate, guide, and support team members to ensure project success and foster a collaborative work environment. Proficiency in project management software. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail and ability to address/resolves conflict/disagreements in a constructive manner. Ability to foster a positive work environment that encourages collaboration, open & smooth communication. Ability to be agile, pivot, and make adjustments in a fast-paced environment. Empathetic and patient-focused demeanor. Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage competing priorities. Team-oriented with a collaborative approach.
