Job Description
Location: Wilemer, Texas Pay: $25 - $27 per hour Job Type: Full-time Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Equipment Technician I to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of our production equipment. The role requires a proactive approach to equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include:
Equipment Maintenance & Inspection : Master the structure and working principles of production equipment and conduct regular, scheduled inspections to identify and prevent potential failures.
Record-Keeping : Maintain detailed daily records of equipment operations and maintenance activities.
Troubleshooting & Repair : Detect, isolate, and identify equipment malfunctions; repair faulty equipment as reported, ensuring high-quality maintenance.
Installation Assistance : Support machine alignment during installation using specialized tools.
Safety & Compliance : Follow all safety regulations, maintenance protocols, and installation standards to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
Other Duties : Complete additional projects as assigned by management. Qualifications:
Education & Experience : Technical diploma (electrical or mechanical) or higher preferred, with at least 1-2 years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing setting; experience with solar modules or semiconductors is a plus.
Skills : Strong troubleshooting abilities with electrical, mechanical, and automation components. Good knowledge of pneumatic systems. Proficient in using shop equipment, bench tools, and hand tools. Familiarity with data analysis tools, including MS Excel.
Attributes : Hardworking, reliable, able to work under pressure, and adaptable to shifts. Physical Requirements:
Mobility : Frequently stationary up to 75% of the time; regularly bending, standing, and walking.
Lifting : Occasionally lift objects up to 20 lbs (team lift as needed).
Communication : Able to effectively communicate with team members.
Visual Acuity : Frequent use of sight for equipment operation and documentation.
