Job Summary Responsible of coordination, production, and revision of the development and execution of the detailed civil engineering, required in the approved projects by technical department; complying with the established standard requirements of quality, cost and time; applying the methodologies, procedures and specifications of the civil engineering department. Active participation in project drafts through the preliminary execution of geo-technical evaluations and constructability reviews Elaborate preliminary and final foundation and structural steel requirements for the buildup of investment budgets in the draft stages as well as the project. Elaborate all the necessary information and documentation (requests, comparison charts, recommendations, etc.), for the hiring of the detailed engineering and services, based in specifications of the engineering department. Coordinate the execution of all the basic civil engineering to develop during the project and its subsidiaries that are in operation. Coordinate, supervise and manage the making of the detailed civil engineering, as well as the follow up of the schedules, which shall be completed according to the master schedule and correct any deviations that may occur. Review the calculations for civil/structural design from third-party engineering firms. Verify the compliance of norms, standards and design specifications of the designers and engineering buffets, through monitoring and assistance Revise all the civil engineering information, drafts and certified, from the third-party engineering firms as required. Development of job concept catalogs for the bidding process and hiring for construction. Technical participation and support of the construction department regarding construction situations that may be required during the construction process. Participate actively during the construction and commissioning of the project. Assist training and development courses, to keep the performance of his function updated. Request necessary field information of the group plants or its subsidiaries, to give continuity to the projects, thus avoiding possible interferences in the installations of new utilities and upgrade of building positions or existing utilities

Qualifications

BS Engineering or other degree in Mechanics. Prior experience in Project Civil Engineering. Experience in Projects Execution (Engineering development & Construction).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong leadership skills. Solid understanding of engineering drawings and files. Must understand fabrication drawing preparations and interpretation and construction drawing preparations and interpretation Computer proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, including, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, & 3D Model /AutoCAD. Soft Skills: management, presentation skills, public speaking, self-motivated.
