Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated Automotive Service Technician/Mechanic to join our team. This entry-level full-time position involves setting up and assembling equipment, performing pre-delivery inspections, and preparing equipment for customer delivery. The role may require guidance from senior staff and involves various responsibilities to ensure quality service and safety compliance. Responsibilities Assist the Service Manager and technicians in department operations Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop, vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment Support service technicians with parts delivery, repairs, servicing, and moving equipment Ensure accurate documentation of diagnostics and repairs on work orders Participate in Service EDUCATE Training programs for skill development Operate and maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently Keep a clean and orderly work environment Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures Qualifications Experience with operating vehicles, tools, and equipment used in machinery pre-delivery and setup Basic computer skills Ability to work cooperatively in a team Effective verbal and written communication skills Valid driver’s license is required High School Diploma or equivalent; an Associate’s degree is preferred Forklift license is a plus Must have or be willing to acquire an adequate toolset (may be provided by the dealership) Additional Information Seniority level: Entry level Employment type: Full-time Job functions include Management and Manufacturing within the Internet Publishing industry. #J-18808-Ljbffr
