Job Description
The ACS Group is a privately held company that designs and manufactures one of the most comprehensive lines of auxiliary products for the plastics industry and other process industries. The ACS Group offers an expansive product line, which includes size reduction equipment (granulators and shredders), material conveying equipment, metering and blending devices, mold temperature control units, chillers, and drying systems. ACS Group has manufacturing facilities in New Berlin, Wisconsin, and Wabash, Indiana, with a third facility located in Suzhou, China, to handle the needs of the Asian market. A successful candidate will be responsible for: Coordinate activities of Inside Sales personnel to handle workload in a timely manner. Help resolve problems with customer quotes and orders as they arise. Handle phone calls from customers, sales representatives, and other Company personnel. Interface with customers to determine proper equipment for application. Ensure timely processing of material tests in the lab. Provide technical support interfacing with the Company's Engineering and Manufacturing departments. Assist Inside personnel in completion of proposals and orders. Provide quotations to customers that: Meet the customer's requirements. Comply with company guidelines. Include documentation to fully explain the system. Result in company-approved profit margins. Become versed in the complete line of Company products and services to effectively support the entire organization. Follow up with customers after submission of quotation to ensure continuity of projects – revise quotations as necessary to secure orders. Enter orders accurately to ensure the customer gets the correct equipment. Review orders with Engineering and Manufacturing personnel. Follow orders through the manufacturing process, shipment, and installation and start-up at the customer's site. Maintain communication of customer's delivery requirements to Manufacturing. Strive for continuous departmental quality improvement. Interface with other departments as needed on other projects, i.e., new Configurator system, Operations improvement, etc. Collect competitive information to aid sales efforts. Learn appropriate tools to perform the job better. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements: Associates Degree in Engineering or Business Administration and 2-5 years of experience. Strong interpersonal and oral and written communication skills. Good analytical skills. Good e-mail skills including literacy and composition. Self-motivated and team player. Strong customer service attitude and a quality-focused mentality. Strong work ethic with the desire to learn something new every day. Experience in pneumatic conveying, heat transfer, thermodynamics, size reduction, and/or related engineering roles is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
