Job Summary: The Program Director is responsible for managerial, operational and administrative duties relating to the program and is the first point of contact in case of emergency situation. The Program Director must maintain a flexible work schedule that may include working hours other than regular work schedule and evenings, weekends and holidays. Essential Functions: Supervise all program staff, ensuring all daily contacts are made by assigned Youth Trackers Ensure all data is entered promptly into the Depart of Juvenile Justice’s Juvenile Tracking System (JTS) and Southwest Key Programs database, Efforts to Outcome (ETO) Complete required documentation, including discharge information, for assigned youth in an accurate and timely manner Work effectively with funding source to ensure program is operating with maximum client population levels. Respond and document all crisis per SWK and DJJ Policy Maintain and monitor cleanliness, security and safety of facility Ensure program compliance with Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) contract, Southwest Key Employee Guidebook and Georgia Policy and Procedures Manual Notify program management staff immediately in the event of a client crisis, suspected illegal activity or any other client incident Ensure all staff meets required training within the required time frames Ensure all youth are successfully connected to global positioning satellite (GPS) monitoring device Ensure timely assignment/un-assignment of GPS units in Veritracks system Maintain and ensure accountability of all program GPS inventory Ensure program is fiscally accountable Regular and punctual attendance Other Functions: Coordinate and participate in all client activities and groups when necessary Provide daily contacts with youth as needed; subject to be on call and be available to provide staff assistance Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 6 months of experience working with youth and families or a related field or 3 years of experience working with youth and families or a related field Valid Georgia State Driver’s License, maintain current insurance and registration and clear driving record Clear result from a criminal background check by the Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice Clear drug screen results from the organization’s designated medical facility Ability to assist with goal-oriented delivery of services Possess good verbal and written skills Ability to manage conflicts and perform well in crisis situations Ability to obtain First Aid and CPR certification Physical Demands: Must be able to obtain First Aid Certification (CPR). Must be able to verify client’s whereabouts by driving, sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time. Daily use of various office equipment. Categorize and track all applications per CASAA application cycle and report program determined statistics to the Program Director and Vice President of Academic Affairs. Participates and assists with the interview and application process. Assist program faculty with correspondence and scheduling of didactic instructors and clinical sites. Assist the Program Director in the management of the program budget. Process all invoices and payments for program. Continuous collection of pertinent data for self-study/accreditation and quality improvement as directed by the faculty and program director. Ensure database(s) maintenance and entry which include(s) student and applicant information, and clinical rotation data as determined appropriate. Maintain confidential student files with all appropriate and required items. Obtain all required documentation from students including immunization records, proof of health insurance, etc. to ensure compliance with University and AA professional requirements. Obtain, review and categorize all required materials for matriculating students including tuition deposits, prerequisite coursework, appropriate transcripts, documentation of anesthesia shadow hours, etc. to ensure compliance with accreditation standards. Assist the program director and faculty with production of program materials including, but not limited to: recruitment materials, admissions materials, and programmatic materials such as syllabi. Coordinate public relations and marketing for the program with social media. Organize and coordinate interviews with candidates. Assist with program events including open houses and other events as needed. Answer telephone and email inquiries from applicants and other interested parties and serve as receptionist for the program. Perform transcript audits for potential applicants and communicate to program faculty. Program committees as requested or designated. Continuous collection of pertinent data necessary for self-study/accreditation and quality improvement which may include exit interviews, NCCAA performance and graduate surveys. Coordinates and helps to maintain student records to ensure compliance with clinical site requirements. Performs other appropriate administrative duties as assigned by the Program Director. Students Maintain up to date student records/files. Assists in tracking and assessing preceptor evaluations of students and student site evaluations. Assists in the assessment and monitoring of student patient activity logs in the clinical tracker aspect of AA manager software. Assists in developing and administering graduate and employer surveys and updating program job communication bulletin board. Performs other appropriate student activities as assigned by the Program Director. Qualifications Possess a Bachelor degree or higher. Possess exceptional communication and organizational skills. Have a collaborative approach to education and clinical site development. Possess excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively and courteously with students, staff, faculty, health care professionals and the public. Computer proficiency. Sensitivity to the expectations of students, staff, faculty, health care professionals and the public. Sensitivity to diversity and multi-cultural issues. Duties include:

Responsible for collaborative planning and implementing of daily programming Work closely with school and Y personnel to ensure positive outcomes for students and connection between the school, students, families and the Y. Develop and maintain positive relationships with Y employees, school personnel and administration, students and families. Maintain written attendance data, meal count records, collect assessment data and provide reports as necessary.
