The psychiatric nurse practitioner will provide care in-person or via videoconferencing to various patient populations in outpatient care, including partial hospital and intensive outpatient programs. Qualifications include:
Two years of experience as a psychiatric provider preferred. Graduated from an accredited MSN program with certification as a PMHNP. Able to document and navigate EMR independently; Mindful Health currently utilizes AdvancedMD. Experience in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Ability to make clinical decisions based on patient presentation. Proven ability to be flexible with the work environment within the defined work hours. Must be able to sit for at least 8 hours during scheduled shift. Proficient computer skills, including working knowledge of e-mail systems and web-based conferencing. Provide excellent customer service to patients and staff. Experience in telemedicine preferred. Must be able to obtain and maintain licensure in multiple states. Must have a valid DEA number or the ability to obtain a DEA license in multiple states. Active CPR Certification. A desire to learn and grow. Job Duties Overview: Responsible for providing psychiatric services to patients in outpatient care. Responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and developing a treatment plan. Responsible for interpreting lab results as indicated. Responsible for making independent decisions based on protocols developed utilizing national guidelines for treating mental health conditions. Responsible for maintaining customer relations with patients and referral sources. Ensures patients are comfortable and satisfied with services received in-person or via videoconferencing. Responsible for logging on to the videoconferencing platform and EMR 15 minutes before the scheduled shift to ensure the connection is stable before a virtual appointment. Responsible for notifying a care coordinator and IT Help Desk regarding any connectivity issues with virtual appointments. Mindful Health offers: A healthy and positive atmosphere where everyone is valued. Flexibility in schedule and work hours (Monday through Friday, 8 am – 5 pm). As the clinic grows, evening availability may be necessary. The salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. 120 hours (15 days) of paid time off. 40 hours (5 days) of sick leave. 24 hours (3 days) of paid bereavement leave per occurrence.
