The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for growing the business in their assigned territory by selling products to new prospects.
Responsibilities
Builds and develops customer base through industry knowledge & contacts, networking, and prospecting
Builds company brand and product awareness by participating in industry events
Builds and maintains successful business partnerships by actively engaging customers
Sources new sales opportunities through inbound leads
Follow-ups and outbound cold calls and e-mails
Provides sales forecasts to the Account Team Lead at least monthly
Maintains business plan accountability
Visits bottlers and sales centers throughout the MW and south region
Visits PFI Instore facilities regularly to understand our entire capabilities
Performs other duties as assigned to them by management

Language Ability
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community
Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format
Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, or boards of directors
Math Ability
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Ability to interpret a wide variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form
Ability to deal with several abstract and concrete variables
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of word processing software, spreadsheet software, project management software, contact management software, and PowerPoint.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
One to two years of related experience or training
Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Specialized Training
One to two years of sales experience
Knowledge of point-of-purchase sales in the beverage industry is helpful
Certificates and Licenses
Valid driver's license
Knowledge, Skills, and Other Abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multitask
