Minimum Qualifications
The minimum qualifications for a Store Manager are:
High School diploma or GED preferred. Experience in retail sales preferred. Ability to supervise and train for the use of equipment, tools and materials. Ability to use computer, or acquire necessary skills for computer usage at the site. A valid driver’s license and adequate transportation to/from bank and corporate management meetings. Ability to communicate (orally and in writing) in English. Perform other duties as assigned or delegated by supervisor.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND SKILLS
Leadership and Management
Recruit, hire and train positive, enthusiastic employees. Develop, manage and assign tasks to ensure the site is clean and well-kept. Maintain a professional image among subordinates and supervisors. Schedule employees within Company guidelines to maximize customer service. Implement non-discriminatory management skills while hiring and training.
Site Relationships
Develop positive relationships with all suppliers. Promote excellent service and resolve customer complaints. Ensure a positive public image within the community.
Training and Development
Prepare timely performance appraisals for all employees. Train all employees on customer service and safety procedures.
Communication
Ensure all employees receive proper communication in a timely manner. Establish periodic communication meetings with all site employees.
Organizing and Planning
Evaluate and develop action plans to address site needs. Organize and maintain all site files and manuals. Manage store employees to ensure reports are completed accurately.
Financial
Analyze daily sales and expense information. Budget and forecast P&L lines. Safeguard and account for all money received and disbursed.
Working Conditions
Work indoors but may be required to work outside. Occasional exposure to cold temperatures and noise. Work with a minimum of direction and supervision.
