Interventional Radiologist at West Reading Hospital We are seeking a dedicated Interventional Radiologist to join our team at West Reading Hospital to fill the position of a retiring physician. Our esteemed facility is committed to delivering the highest standard of personalized patient care. As a vital member of our team, you will play a central role in expanding treatment options and enhancing patient outcomes across various specialties, including interventional oncology and venous disease management. Salary: $500,000 - $600,000 per year Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform a comprehensive range of interventional radiology procedures with a focus on oncology, portal hypertension, spinal augmentation, and pain management. Consult and manage patient follow-ups, interpreting imaging results to provide comprehensive care continuity. Work collaboratively with physician assistants to manage consults and rounding services efficiently. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all treatments and procedures. Contribute to team efforts by participating in continuous quality improvement initiatives. Lead and mentor junior staff to foster professional growth and enhance department capabilities.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Radiology. Completion of an ACGME accredited fellowship/residency in Interventional Radiology. Valid medical license in the state of Pennsylvania or eligibility for licensure. Proven ability to work as part of a team, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated commitment to high-quality patient care and ethical medical practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with a wide range of IR procedures, including women's health and trauma management. Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in a hospital setting. Ability to contribute to medical research and clinical trials. Prior experience in a high-volume, dynamic healthcare environment.
