Purpose of the Position: Require a person located in Corning, NY to connect with different groups (Forecasting, Finance, PLM, D&E), face to face discussion and develop options to ensure daily reliable supply.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
Create weekly demand/supply plans based on current orders and demand forecasts. Collaborate with planning and forecasting teams to ensure inventory goals are met and potential risks are minimized. Distribute supply plans across manufacturing sites and maintain clear communication. Conduct regular supply chain meetings with plant and development teams. Oversee the execution of strategic plans, escalating any potential risks to management. Guide manufacturing sites on shipment priorities and ensure timely release of on-hold products. Generate multiple scenarios based on demand changes and manufacturing capabilities. Manage and update data used in planning tools. Facilitate intercompany transfers as needed. Generate daily supply plans for allocated products. Assist in the creation of weekly customer reports.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree majoring in business, supply chain, engineering, or closely related discipline. 1+ years experiences in Supply planning. Experience in using planning systems or excel models.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working at a multinational corporation (MNC) or global consumer electronics company. Experience and knowledge of constraint planning. Ability to problem solve and communicate effectively. Have a customer-focused mindset. Experience in factory planning, production planning, or central capacity planning.
This position does not support immigration sponsorship. The range for this position is $68,583.00 - $94,302.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
