Position Overview
Strategic business partner to the leadership team in day-to-day operations and peak season planning and operations. Influence HR strategy and execute tactical direction for the facility within the overall HR strategy. Manage and support the growth & development of the HR Team at the site. Ensure internal consistency of HR policies and procedures across locations. Partner with the Recruiting, Compensation, L&D, and Benefits Team and other functional groups to support Operations. Conduct investigations into employee performance concerns and employee complaints. Maintain knowledge of HR policies and procedures, laws and regulations, industry trends, and developments to ensure accurate information is communicated throughout the company. Experience with high-volume recruiting and onboarding employees during peak business operations. Experience in creating and implementing recognition programs to increase engagement and attendance for non-exempt employees. Foster a work environment that demonstrates Fanatics Core Values. Ensure integrity, maintenance, and confidentiality of all personnel records in accordance with policies and procedures and applicable Federal and State laws. Improve HR service delivery in line with overall business performance expectations. Look for ways to innovate systems for HR delivery (People, process & technology). Manage the HR function with measurable objectives, and communicate the bottom-line impact of HR delivery to the business. Establish and maintain professional relationships and work effectively with all levels of management and employees. Monitor legal developments to ensure that personnel programs and policies comply. Communicate program changes to the local team to ensure compliance with policies and/or laws by creating or modifying documentation or coordinating documentation activities with other departments. Prepare and conduct training and employment development activities for employee relations, personnel components of management training, performance evaluation, and other topics by researching various laws and policies, developing course objectives and content, and developing appropriate materials. Monitor actual employment transactions (e.g., terminations, hires, promotions) and factor analysis goals by comparing job openings and selection rates to applicant/protected group availability and goals and by recommending strategies for minimizing or eliminating under-utilizations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field. 8 years of experience in Human Resources, with an understanding of employee relations, recruiting, performance management, training and development, total rewards. 3 years of experience in leading teams and coaching leaders. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with employees at all levels. Analytical and problem-solving skills for addressing employee issues and improving HR processes. Knowledge of labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance. Familiarity with HRIS software and tools – preferably Oracle. Ability to align HR strategies with business goals. Understanding of diversity & inclusion practices to foster a positive work environment. Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines. Ability to handle stressful situations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
