Under general supervision, provides daily work direction to work crews engaged in the construction, repair, and maintenance of County roads, bridges, and right of way. This designation is distinguished from the District Road Supervisor by the absence of full supervisory authority and less administrative responsibility. Functions as a leader of one or two working crew(s) (crew is 3-6 employees) within the assigned area or job location and personally executes work directives. Representative Duties: Plans, leads, and evaluates the work of field crews. Confers with the District Road Supervisor on a regular basis to discuss current and upcoming projects.
