Job Description The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for all inbound and outbound customer shipments. Some successful candidates may operate manual and/or power material handling equipment if they are trained and certified. Responsibilities Receive/Lot/Stow/Pick/Pack all inbound and outbound customer shipments, including customer pick up, UPS freight and other freight shipments Photography of product for use on our website Actively participate in Safety Program, Green Belt and Kaizen activities Other warehouse duties as assigned Qualifications Education/Experience:
Warehouse experience required High School Diploma/GED required Employee should be familiar with and capable of operating standard office equipment (photocopier, facsimile machine, personal computer, adding machine, stapler, 3-hole punch, etc.) and warehouse equipment (manual pallet jack, dock leveler, scale, etc.); some lifting (up to 50 pounds) may be required
Skills:
Good interpersonal and customer communication skills Must possess excellent organizational skills; detail-oriented with strong follow-through skills Enjoy a fast-paced environment that is constantly changing
Ability:
Ability to manage and resolve conflicts with Liquidity Services’ best interest in mind Demonstrate a high degree of awareness to safety, accuracy and productivity Ability to work well in a team environment is required
Work Conditions/Physical Demands:
The employee must be able to work in a typical warehouse environment where there may be uneven floor surfaces. Compensation is determined by various factors such as location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as internal and external equity and organizational needs. The salary range for this position is $17.00 hourly. The posted range reflects our national average range for the job. We may ultimately pay more or less than the published range based on the factors mentioned above. This range may be modified in the future.
