The Opportunity Williams International has an exciting opportunity for an Instrumentation & Calibration Technician to join our team. The Technician will calibrate equipment throughout the test cells and manufacturing. Responsibilities Perform calibrations and adjustments in accordance with approved standard procedures. Provide calibration services on measurement equipment and instruments used in production, quality control, laboratory, and manufacturing environments. Calibrate dimensional, mechanical, and devices across multiple disciplines. Collect, compile, and measure data to support calibration traceability documentation and certificates. Responsible for creating Instrument Control Numbers (ICNs) and documenting/filing calibration records in TMS system. Participate in the training and development of other team members. Qualifications Associates Degree or equivalent experience in instrumentation & electronics. 5 years of work experience directly related to calibration of electrical/mechanical instrumentation. Knowledge of computers and data acquisition systems. Ability to read a wire/mechanical schematic. Familiar with SAP. Experienced in calibrating several disciplines of test and measurement equipment including but not limited to: torque, pressure, vacuum, temperature, weight, mass. Capable of lifting 50 pounds from floor to height of 25 inches, capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 pounds, have a grip strength of at least 50 pounds and be able to reach above shoulder 65 inches above floor level (minimum). U.S. citizenship is required. Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed.
